Rachel Dubose

Ms. Rachel Dubose is the typical mean, grumpy, old hag that's always grumbling about the ways of the new generation. She is a morphine addict and this could be the reason why she behaves in such a cruel manner to the kids releasing all her frustration on them. But she is as proud as a pelican and dies without any addiction fighting every single day while she listens to Jem read.

I got into trouble and felt ashamed on the end of year examinations for year 9. I remember it was a dry, boring summer afternoon in Kenya and I was doing my ART exam. It was the last exam and I simply coudn't be bothered to concentrate and keep quiet. So I created a bit of disruption, but every one else was doing the same thing and the next thing I know I get told to leave the examination. I really didn't mind at that m oment but the main problem came when I was confronted by my Mum asking me how the days exams went. After an hour of hard explaining I finally told her that I was ashamed of my acts because it wasn't expacted from me and it wouldn't happen again. But then I realised that I'm dropping ART this year so it probably wouldn't happen again anyway.
